Training on Village Courts.

Mehdi Hasan Special Correspondents: Savar upazila conference room today Wednesday  Participant: Training was conducted on Gram Adalat subject for selected members of Union Parishad. He inaugurated the village court.  Savar upazila executive officer Saiful Islam was present as the chief guest.  Special guest: Social Service Officer Savar – KM Shahiduzzaman and Khaleda Akhter Jahan (Women Affairs Worker) Savar Dhaka. The main subject of the training was the training of the members of the Union Parishad on how to manage cases in the village courts. The Village Courts Act 2006 Rules 2016 and the Amending Village Courts Act 2024 are imparted practical training.  Organized by: Upazila Administration, Savar, Dhaka Activation of Village Courts in Bangladesh (Phase 3) Project Local Government Department under the Ministry of Local Government Rural Development and Cooperatives.  This project is directly monitored by Upazila Executive Officer Savar Dhaka. A total of 5 Union Parishad members participated in the 2-day training  Upazila Coordinator Ujjwala Clara Roy and Thakur Prasad Roy conducted the training. Savar Dhaka.
