Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has warned attacks would continue “until the enemy is fully defeated”.
Zolghadr also pledged retribution for the US-Israel war on Iran and the killing of schoolchildren, state news agency IRNA reported.
“Ongoing and precision strikes by Iranian forces will persist until the enemy is fully defeated and retribution is exacted for the innocent children of Minab and Lamerd, and will continue beyond that point,” he said.
The single largest casualty from an attack, according to Iranian authorities, was the attack on a girls’ school in the southern city of Minab in which 165 people were killed and 95 wounded, most of them children.People mourn children killed in the strike on a school in Minab . The British advocacy group Medical Aid for Palestinians says communities in and around Nablus in the occupied West Bank are facing “escalating state-backed mass settler attacks worsening the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians”.
Aseel Baidoun, its deputy director of advocacy and campaigns, said the actions of Israeli forces and settlers over the past few days are not “isolated incidents”.
“They reflect a wider pattern of violence, intimidation and obstruction that is putting Palestinian lives at increasing risk. Without meaningful accountability, this pattern of impunity will continue,” Baidoun said.
“When hospitals are stormed, ambulances are blocked, and healthcare workers are prevented from saving lives. The UK government cannot wait until the West Bank reaches the point of no return. Palestinian communities are already living with a reality of fear, displacement, and violence. The question now is how much further this will be allowed to go.”
Jordan condemns ongoing settler attacks in occupied West Bank
Jordan has condemned the escalation of settler attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank after four people were killed on Friday.
In a statement on X, the Foreign Ministry said ambassador Fuad al-Majali affirmed Jordan’s “absolute rejection of these condemned attacks perpetrated by Israeli settlers”.
“Which constitute an extension of the Israeli government’s extremist policies and the illegitimate Israeli measures in the occupied West Bank that fuel extremism and violence against the Palestinian people and undermine the prospects of achieving peace based on the two-state solution, holding Israel, the occupying power, responsible for these attacks,” the statement said.
“Al-Majali called on the international community to shoulder its legal and moral responsibilities, obligate Israel, the occupying power, to halt settler attacks, hold the perpetrators of crimes accountable and ensure they are not granted impunity.”
Israel detains at least 66 Palestinians in raids across occupied West Bank
Israeli troops have arrested 66 Palestinians during overnight and early morning incursions across the occupied West Bank.
The largest raid took place in the village of Tal, south of Nablus, where 30 Palestinians were arrested, according to Wafa news agency.
Elsewhere, four people were arrested in the Ramallah governorate, five in Jenin, eight in the Hebron area, three in Bethlehem and five in Tulkarem governorate.
Israeli police also raided the town of al-Eizariya, southeast of occupied East Jerusalem, where one resident was detained.

Iran accuses US of opening separate route in Hormuz

After clashes occurred in Hormuz, Iran decided during the Switzerland talks to open a direct line of communication to avoid misunderstandings.
It appears the US is insistent on establishing other routes in the Strait of Hormuz.
