At least two Palestinians have been injured in Israeli attacks east of Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, the Wafa news agency reports.
Residents in Deir el-Balah, southern Khan Younis and Rafah, and northern Gaza City’s Zeitoun, Tuffah and Shujayea neighbourhoods say Israeli forces have advanced past the “Yellow Line” markers over the past 10 days.
The latest assault triggered new waves of displacement in areas already devastated by years of Israeli attacks. Residents in some affected areas received Israeli warnings via text messages or drone-mounted loudspeakers before fleeing once again.
Nearly all of the territory’s roughly 2.3 million residents are concentrated in a narrow coastal area, living largely in damaged buildings or makeshift shelters and facing dire humanitarian conditions.

The Palestinian death toll in Gaza during Israel’s genocidal war has risen to 73,333 with 174,023 wounded since October 2023, the Health Ministry says.
Three Palestinians were killed and 14 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza over the latest 24-hour reporting period as Israel’s military continues daily to violate a “ceasefire” signed in October.
Another Palestinian died from wounds sustained in a previous Israeli attack. Occupying forces have killed at least 1,207 people and wounded 3,914 since the “ceasefire” went into effect, the ministry said.
