54th National Cooperative Day celebrated in Rangamati

Roksana Akhter Pinky:- The 54th National Cooperative Day was celebrated with the slogan “Equality and equality, the country will be built by cooperatives”. On the occasion of the day, a colorful rally, discussion meeting and awards were distributed among the best cooperatives in Rangamati.

On the occasion of the day, a rally of cooperatives started from the District Council at 9 am and circled the main roads of the city before ending at the District Council. After that, a discussion meeting was held at the Annex building of the District Council organized by the District Council and the Cooperative Department. It was presided over by District Cooperative Officer Mousumi Bhattacharya.

The chief guest was the Chairman of the District Council, agriculturist Kajal Talukder, while the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council Khandaker Md. Rizaul Karim, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Imranul Haque Bhuiyan and various association leaders were present as special guests.

 After the discussion, awards were given to the highest revenue generating cooperative society, the National Cooperative Award 2024, the Rangamati Hill District Nominated Cooperative Society (Sadar Upazila), the Successful Cooperative Society Sadar Upazila, and the Women Entrepreneur.
